Is the venue(s) accessible?

Our family event days are accessible. There's wheelchair access on all levels with step-free access throughout. Multiple lifts provide access to all activities. The event programmes are available in large print.   Please be aware that the building gets busy and noisy on these days, but a Quiet Space with a variety of sensory toys and areas to sit and lie down is provided.   Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome. All activities are facilitated in a relaxed, informal environment.   Staff members trained in mental health first aid are attending the event.   We aim to make our events accessible to everyone, and our staff will be happy to assist you in any way they can on the day. We aim to keep our family event days free or accessible at a very low cost. What age is the show suitable for?

As little as 3 years old and as old as 120!

What are the Start/ End times of the Show?

We have two performances a day: Our early performance starts at 11.00am and finishes at 1.30pm, and our late performance starts at 5.00pm and finishes at 7.30pm.    We ask all guests to arrive 30 minutes before the show begins.

How do we get our tickets?

Once you have purchased your tickets they will be sent to you electronically. As pirates we like trees (they are good to swing a hammock between!) so there is no need for you to print them out.

I can no longer attend - can we reschedule?

Yes there will be smoke but no loud bangs to put your nerves on edge!

Why have the prices changed?

As of February 2022 we have restructured our prices to make the show accessible to everyone. If you have purchase the ticket at our higher price please contact us and we will be happy to refund you the difference.

Is Pirate Show Live affiliated with any other Pirate Shows?

No. Pirate Show Live is a unique stand alone show and is no way affiliated with any other similar shows within the UK and Internationally.

What is included in the goodie bag?

Our goodie bag contains a pirate hate, eye patch, parrot teddy, colouring book and a programme.

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is pay and display parking at the venue run by Euro Car Parks with 10 spaces available for disabled badge holders.    The Car park is open: Mon – Sat, 7.30am – 9pm (pay & display)
Sun and Bank Holidays, 9am – 5pm (free)   There are several pay and display car parks nearby as alternatives. For Stanhope Road, Castle Road, Woodside Park & Lodge Lane allow 30 minutes to park and make your way to the theatre.   Please note the Aldi carpark directly below artsdepot has introduced a 90 minute maximum stay.   Street Parking
The streets around artsdepot are part of a controlled parking zone. Please allow time to register for cashless parking.   Drop Off To make things a little easier disabled or elderly visitors, and their carers, can be dropped off outside artsdepot before you park.

artsdepot is between West Finchley, Finchley Central and Woodside Park stations on the Northern Line (High Barnet branch).   Visiting us for the first time? It’s easier to find your way if you get off at Finchley Central and catch a bus (125, 13 or 460) along Ballards Lane to North Finchley.   Allow 20 minutes for this leg of your journey. Walking from Finchley Central takes around 25 minutes. 
Walking from West Finchley and Woodside Park takes around 20 minutes.

What if COVID prevents us attending the show?

If our show is cancelled due to Covid restrictions, a full refund will be given within 28 days – no questions asked.

How long does it take to get my merchandise?

Our dispatch time for merchandise is usually within 10 working days. However, deliveries may be delayed during holiday periods.   If you would like to enquire about your order please do so by using our contact page and quote your order number and date of purchase.
